Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for purchasing from Gardner Turfgrass, Inc. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee because our mission is to deliver competitively priced, quality products with unsurpassed customer service. If you’re not completely satisfied with your new grass, we will go above and beyond to right the situation.

In the unlikely event there is a problem with your new grass, first call the retailer or landscape contractor you purchased the sod from (if you did not buy directly from us) for treatment recommendations as soon as you notice the problem. If they are not able to help to your satisfaction, call the local Gardner office that your turfgrass was delivered from. We may, at our discretion, send a representative to examine your lawn and make recommendations for correcting the problem. If you follow our recommendations and still feel dissatisfied, you can contact the local office again to request replacement sod, which is free of charge if you have met all the requirements below. Please be aware that Gardner covers the cost of the sod only and is not responsible for any other associated costs. You may either pick up your replacement sod or we would be happy to deliver it for a nominal fee if that would be more convenient for you.

Requirements to qualify for the guarantee are as follows:

  •  There was proper ground preparation before installation.
  •  A permanent underground irrigation system that provides complete and uniform water coverage was in place before installation.
  •  The sod was installed correctly.
  • The sod was installed as soon as possible and within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Good and appropriate care and maintenance were performed.
  •  The sod was not planted in an area with more than 50% shade.
  •  The sod was not damaged by pets or overuse.
  • The sod was not burned by the application of a chemical (e.g. fertilizer, insecticide, etc.).
  •  Dissatisfaction is reported to Gardner within six months of purchase.
  • Any and all recommendations by Gardner to correct the problem were followed.
  • The sod was not previously replaced under this guarantee.
